What's A Safe Word?

Greetings once again, fellow Realmians. This time, I have a question for you ...
What, exactly, is a Safe Word?In this day and age, words are no longer simple units of verbal communication. Their effectiveness at conveying a clear image and explanation of one's thoughts and ideas to another is not the criteria by which words are judged.

Rather, words today are judged by how completely they fail to offend or stereotypically portray any given other person, group or segment of society that has been, or could very well be, or probably should be, or eventually will be identified, by those of extreme PC sensitivity, to be unworthy or undeserving of said offense, or, in the eyes of the PC beholder, anyone who should be offended by such word, even if they must first be educated - by the aforementioned PC authority - as to the nature of the offense and the true intentions and interpretations of the word as spoken, even if the speaker be totally unaware - a PC word readily translated as ignorant - of such meaning, which, as spoken, is patently offensive, whether intentional or otherwise by the speaker, and whether or not recognized as such by the entity offended.

Whew! Get it? Me neither. That was a lot of words, though, so someone must be offended. Time to check "Safe Words" in the Realmstone Glossary . . .

. . . Well, there's good news at Realmstone. A Safe Word is simple, straight-forward, easily interpreted, communicates precisely and exactly, and offends no one. Not to mention, Realmian Safe Words can save your ass, quite literally.

Yes, safe words are your legitimate, non-offensive way of guiding a Top and helping them pace their activities to meet your needs without exceeding your tolerance. Or underestimating it.

YANKEES NOTE: If your curiosity - or courage - has reached the point where you are inclined to conduct a scene with your S/O, but you are fearful of what to do if events exceed your expectations or tolerance, Safe Words are your safety net. Learn the examples in the glossary, or invent your own. Then, mutually commit to adherence to them with your S/O. This is the very core of CONSENSUAL. You must be able to live and breathe with confidence in your Safe Words. Never schedule a session with a self-proclaimed "professional" Domme or dom if they cannot readily provide you with the safe words they employ.

Safe Words must ALWAYS be respected and honored by any Top, anywhere, any time. They allow the bottom to confidently abandon ego, explore their  submissive nature, and to feel safe and secure in their quest for discovery.

Safe in the midst of chaos. How soothing.
